A candidate is a market that survived deterministic screening and received a complete research packet. It is not a position. Most are meant to fail the standard; this is where you can see which did, and why.

What the decisions mean

Published: Every gate passed and an official position was locked and published.
Qualified · not published: Every gate passed, but no official position was created: the engine was in shadow mode, or the lock did not complete.
Watchlist: The case survived; only the price or recoverable data failed. It re-enters when the stated condition is met.
Declined after research: Researched, assessed on merit and not published. Most candidates are meant to end here. The engine records this decision as PASS, which means the candidate passed through without a position.
Review required: A contradiction or presentation defect that code does not resolve on its own.
System blocked: Something the decision depends on was missing or unhealthy, so the candidate could not be assessed. Never reported as a merit decision.
Awaiting the standard: Research is complete; the policy gates have not yet been applied.
